Total population of our parish is 15,549 and consists of 4 districts built on an area of 4,141,817 sqm. There are 6653 households, 700 shops, 11,000 accomodation facilities operating with minicipality certificate, 7000 accomodation facilities operating with a certificate from Ministry of Tourism and 4 primary schools in Armutalan.

 

 

Built on an area of 1996 sqm.

Service and culture building has been constructed with a total area of 246 sqm. In this building there is a library with tables to study and resting room and an exhibition room. The building is also designed for the usage of our disabled guests.

 

In the tunnel designed 216 sqm greenhouse; seasonal and shrub type plants are cultivated. There are 2000 different types of plants.

 

As well as the playing areas specially


designed for children, there is also a sand and mud pool for them to play.

 

 

There are 55 sales booths located in the Art Street where hand made souvenirs are sold. Ones who have attended municipality Public Education courses have the priority to rent these sales booths in this street.

 

 

Our parish has 2 sister towns; Tilos parish in Twelve Islands in Rhodes and Balçýk city in Bulgaria.

We are also working on becoming sister towns with Ialios minicipality in Rhodes and Klimovsk municipality in Moskow.

 

 

Theater, circus, festivals, public carnival, theater for disabled.

 

 

A graveyard has been constructed for our expatriate residents.

Our Hand Skills and Vocational courses intended for ladies living in our parish; approximately 200 of them every year, give the opportunity of being business owners.

 

There are basketball, footbal and volleyball teams in Armutalan Municipality organisation structure.

 

 

All the electrical transformers in our parish have been decorated and painted by different artists.
